well-known korean skyscraper-^^
-63Building-
Korean icon among skyscrapers!
It is 249 meters (817 feet) high, it is the 3rd tallest building in South Korea, the 122nd tallest building worldwide.
63 probably refers to the building's 63 official stories. The top floor nevertheless is considered the 63rd floor.
Construction was completed in 1985.
At that time, the 63 Building was the tallest building in Asia; it lost this title to the OUB Centre one year later, but remained the tallest building in South Korea until Mok-dong Hyperion I, Tower A surpassed it in 2002.
when I was little, i went here with my mom & dad.
it was full of amazing things.. at that time... like fish and great view.. and... such an high elevator...
it is used for Acquarium, Musium, Restaurants, shops, and offices...
SkyScraperssss-
SkyScraper-
I've studied about skyscrapers which was my first unit at level 8. It was pretty interesting to me because i dreamed to be a architecture once. I gave up when i realized that i'm not good at math..^^;;
People say many lights from not only skyscrapers, also other many buildings cause light pollution in the city. Also, it leads congestion, parking lot problem or displacement(cover low-rise with its shadow). It even has difficulties to deal with natural disaster like fire and earthquake.
However, personally,, SkyScraper appeals to me soooo much!!
It makes the city beautiful with lights. Everybody wants to visit once those cities and skyscrapers that always crowded with people.
Also, it can be a good alternation for fast growing population in city. There's no place for buildins outward, but upwards-yes!
Of course, it brings many economical advantages to country and people who participate to build it. Since the technology has been improved so that we can use land and energy more efficiently. Beside, it will be a great landmark where attract to many tourists.
Moreover, i want to live in skyscraper for a while.^^
