Hi Jung,

In my country there are similar events, they are not called corralejas but corridas.
One of the most internationally famous celebrations in Spain are the "San Fermines". Every year in the city of Pamplona, in the north of Spain, lots of people meet for participating or watching "los encierros".
During "los encierros" some bulls are released in the streets. People provoke the bulls for making them move and direct them to a bullfighting square. So you can see the people running next to the bulls.
Every year there are lots of accidents and there´s always some sad death. Usually of foreigners.
There´s an increasin dispute in Spain related with the treatment of animals in these kind of celebrations. I don´t like them but I understand the point of view of the older generations that approve them. What I can tell you is that these animals are raised better and in a more sane way than the ones who are raised in big farm industries to be eaten later.
