SkyScraperssss-

SkyScraper-

I've studied about skyscrapers which was my first unit at level 8. It was pretty interesting to me because i dreamed to be a architecture once. I gave up when i realized that i'm not good at math..^^;;

People say many lights from not only skyscrapers, also other many buildings cause light pollution in the city. Also, it leads congestion, parking lot problem or displacement(cover low-rise with its shadow). It even has difficulties to deal with natural disaster like fire and earthquake.

However, personally,, SkyScraper appeals to me soooo much!!

It makes the city beautiful with lights. Everybody wants to visit once those cities and skyscrapers that always crowded with people.

Also, it can be a good alternation for fast growing population in city. There's no place for buildins outward, but upwards-yes!
Of course, it brings many economical advantages to country and people who participate to build it. Since the technology has been improved so that we can use land and energy more efficiently. Beside, it will be a great landmark where attract to many tourists.
Moreover, i want to live in skyscraper for a while.^^

Well, I think that skyscrapers are not a good solution to the continous growth of population in cities. Neither is an environmental solution, because the construction of one of these buildings require a lot of energy and materials which means more pollution to the environment. All things in life have a limit, and I guess that the growth of cities do have a limit too. In Paris, or Madrid for example, during the summers, the temperature is unbearably high because the pollution generated of thousands of people living together. I guess that´s the main problem, we are too many, too many humans in this world polluting and distroying the nature...

Yes, it seems very exiting when it begins... But what about after the unavoidable disasters (as fire or earthquakes) happen !? Should we prefer the fashion style of the city, the dynamism of the economic instead of a proper normal life (which means without any skyscrapers)?

Poor humans being we are...now I realize that :O
